HeyFuture Limited Warranty Policy

HeyFuture stands behind the quality of our LiFePO4 batteries. This Limited Warranty covers eligible defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use, subject to the terms and exclusions below.

3-Year Limited Warranty Applies to HeyFuture batteries with a rated capacity below 100Ah.
5-Year Limited Warranty Applies to HeyFuture batteries with a rated capacity of 100Ah.
Warranty period: The applicable warranty period begins on the original purchase date. Proof of purchase may be required to verify warranty eligibility.

1. What This Warranty Covers

During the applicable warranty period, HeyFuture warrants eligible products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use.

Eligible manufacturing defects may include issues involving:

  • Battery cells
  • Battery Management System (BMS)
  • Internal electrical connections
  • Battery terminals
  • Factory-installed wiring or connectors
  • Battery enclosure or housing
  • Other internal components originally installed by HeyFuture

If a covered defect is confirmed, HeyFuture may provide troubleshooting, replacement parts, repair, product replacement, or another appropriate warranty solution.

2. What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by misuse, improper installation, external causes, or operation outside the product's specified limits.

Examples include:

  • Incorrect installation or wiring
  • Reverse polarity
  • External short circuits
  • Use of an incompatible charger
  • Charging above the specified voltage
  • Improper charging or discharging
  • Improper series or parallel connection
  • Operation outside the specified voltage, current, or temperature limits
  • Improper storage or maintenance
  • Water or moisture damage beyond the product's stated protection rating
  • Fire, flooding, lightning, collision, impact, crushing, or puncture
  • Damage caused by connected vehicles, motors, controllers, chargers, or inverters
  • Unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair
  • Terminal damage caused by improper installation or excessive torque
  • Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect product operation
  • Products with removed, altered, or unreadable identification labels or serial numbers

3. Normal Battery Aging

LiFePO4 batteries naturally experience gradual capacity reduction over time and through repeated charge and discharge cycles.

Normal capacity loss caused by battery age, cycle count, operating temperature, storage conditions, or normal use is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.

If abnormal capacity loss is suspected, HeyFuture may request diagnostic information to determine whether the battery has an eligible warranty defect.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please contact HeyFuture Customer Support.

Please provide:

  1. Your name and contact information
  2. Order number
  3. Proof of purchase
  4. Product model and rated capacity
  5. Serial number, if applicable
  6. A description of the problem
  7. Photos of the battery and installation
  8. Photos or videos showing the issue
  9. Battery voltage readings, if requested
  10. Charger or connected equipment information, if relevant

HeyFuture may request additional information or testing before approving a warranty claim.

5. Warranty Review Process

After receiving the required information, our support team will review the claim and may provide troubleshooting instructions or request additional diagnostic information.

Our goal is to provide an initial response within 1–3 business days after receiving the necessary claim information.

Complex technical cases may require additional review time.

6. Warranty Returns

Some warranty claims may require the battery to be returned for inspection.

Important: Do not return or ship a lithium battery without prior authorization from HeyFuture Customer Support.

Because lithium batteries are regulated for transportation, our support team will provide the appropriate:

  • Return authorization
  • Approved return address
  • Packaging instructions
  • Carrier or shipping instructions
  • Other transportation requirements where applicable

7. Warranty Shipping Costs

For an approved warranty claim involving a confirmed manufacturing defect, HeyFuture will determine the appropriate return or replacement shipping arrangement.

Depending on the circumstances, HeyFuture may provide:

  • A prepaid return shipping label
  • A replacement product without requiring return of the original battery
  • Replacement parts
  • Another approved warranty solution

If inspection determines that the issue is not covered by this Limited Warranty, the customer may be responsible for applicable return or reshipping costs.

8. Replacement Products

If a product replacement is approved, HeyFuture may provide:

  • A new product
  • A replacement unit of the same model
  • A functionally equivalent product with comparable specifications

If the original product is discontinued or unavailable, HeyFuture may provide a comparable replacement.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, a replacement product does not begin a new warranty period. The replacement remains covered for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.

9. U.S. Warranty Returns

For customers in the United States, authorized warranty returns must be shipped only to the return location provided by HeyFuture Customer Support after the warranty claim has been approved.

Do not ship lithium batteries directly to a warehouse or business address without prior authorization. The correct U.S. return address and shipping instructions will be provided after your warranty claim is reviewed.

10. Amazon, Walmart, eBay and Other Marketplace Purchases

Products purchased through Amazon, Walmart, eBay, or another authorized sales channel may still qualify for the applicable HeyFuture Limited Warranty.

Please provide the marketplace order number and proof of purchase when submitting a warranty request.

Marketplace return policies and the HeyFuture Limited Warranty are separate. If the marketplace return period has expired, an eligible product may still qualify for service under this warranty.

11. Warranty Eligibility

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, this Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase.

Warranty coverage applies only to eligible HeyFuture products used in accordance with their intended application, product specifications, safety instructions, and user manual.

12. Limitation of Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HeyFuture is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from product failure, misuse, improper installation, or use outside the product's specified operating conditions.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
